Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Manchester
Reporting to: Northern Regional Director
The Role:
To demonstrate a flexible approach to requirements within the company and the
responsibilities of the position. It is of primary importance to maximise potential
spend for all customers, to achieve the agreed Sales Targets, and to ensure a
professional and friendly relationship between colleagues and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- To offer excellent customer service to your Customers, ensuring their maximum potential spend. To accept overall responsibility for these Customers on a daily basis.
- To ensure Sales Targets are achieved reporting daily to Northern Regional Director. The level and mix of your target will include new business from telesales activities.
- To ensure all larger enquiries within a certain industry area or from Key Accounts are passed to the correct Account Manager.
- To attend meetings with the Northern Regional Director or an Account Manager, to ensure maximum potential is gained from the visit.
- To report on each visit, indicating the potential for future business.
Working Hours and Location:
- The primary location is the CMC, Lowry Plaza, Manchester
- The hours for this role are 8.45am – 5.30pm
- Flexibility is expected of the individual when peak periods are expected to enable customer needs to be fulfilled within given deadlines
Job title – Key Account Manager
Reporting to: Regional Sales Director
The Role:
To demonstrate a flexible approach to requirements within the company and the responsibilities
of the position. It is of primary importance to maximise potential spend for all customers,
to achieve the agreed Sales Targets, and to ensure a professional and friendly relationship
between colleagues and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- To have face to face contact with your Key accounts, ensuring their maximum potential spend. To accept
overall responsibility for these Key accounts on a daily basis. To ensure Sales Targets are achieved,
within your designated Key accounts. The plan is that you will eventually have no more than 10 key accounts.
- To actively research potential new customers, within designated market sectors. This may include cold
calling, qualifying, mail shots, research, pro active targeted campaigns, new business appointments and
existing business appointments.
- To maintain all necessary administration in accordance with Company standards and procedures. Ensuring
that Customer Focus Scheduler is fully updated, having all accounts scheduled for contact.
- To report on each visit, including the potential for future business. In line with Line Managers requirements,
and to report any competitors activities.
- To ensure you fully understand all procedures relating to Order Processing, Purchasing Guidelines, Returns
Policy, Artwork Requirements and to be fully conversant with all computer packages on site.
- To ensure all other enquiries of a smaller nature are passed to the correct Account Executive, with guidance
offered if necessary. Offer guidance and support to all Sales colleagues, and to assist the Regional Sales
Director with these responsibilities when required, i.e. Attendance to meetings with Account Executives.
- To undertake any other duties required of you, to ensure the smooth operation of the Sales Department.

- The hours for this role are 8.45 – 5.30.
- Flexibility is expected of the individual when peak periods are expected to enable customer needs to be fulfilled within given deadlines.
Job title – Account Manager
Reporting to: Regional Account Director
The Role:
The Account Manager role is to identify new sales opportunities and build up a portfolio of clients within a
geographic area. The role is based at the London office.
It is of primary importance for the Account Manager to: -
- Maximise potential spend for all accounts in their portfolio (new and existing, eventually have a portfolio of 20 accounts).
- Achieve the agreed Sales Targets.
- Ensure a professional approach with clients and colleagues at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- To actively canvas potential customers within a geographic area.
- This will include cold calling, following up mail shots, researching different business sectors for
suitable clients. Full support from Regional Sales Director and guidance with prospects.
- To ensure Sales Targets are achieved.
- To have face-to-face contact with customers and New Business contacts, ensuring maximum potential
spend. 5 appointments per week.
- To accept overall responsibility for accounts on a daily basis.
- To maintain administration in accordance with Company standards and procedures, ensuring that Customer
Focus Scheduler is fully updated, having all accounts scheduled for contact.
- To report on each visit, including the potential for future business inline with Line Managers requirements,
and to report any competitor activity.
- To ensure full understanding of all procedures relating to Order Processing, Purchasing Guidelines, Returns
